DIY: Olive penguins

Imagine some friends coming over at noon, you're all getting a little hungry but you want to serve something different than the usual chips and nuts. You keep searching through all your larders but cannot seem to find something 'different than usual'. I've got the perfect solution for you and your friends, olive penguins!

This snack is not only delicious to serve, it is also a lot of fun to make, either alone or together with your hungry friends! :)

You will need:
- Skewers
- Black olives
- Carrots
- Cream cheese
- Cutting board
- Knife

Step one:
Make a small, vertical cut in the olive with the knife. Make sure that you do not cut the olive in two parts!

Step two:
Fill the indentation with the cream cheese and make sure that the filling stays within the boarders of the indentation so the 'belly' will look perfectly round. This part will form the torso of your penguin.

Step three:
Cut the carrot into slices.
Once you've got circular slices, cut a little triangle from this circle. This circular part of the slice will be used for the feet of the penguin.

Step four:
Use the little triangle you cut out earlier as the beak of the penguin. You do this by simply putting it in the round opening at the top of another olive.

Step five:
Accumulate all different parts of your cute olive penguin and prick the skewer through all parts.

Step six:
Serve your penguins on a beautiful plate and enjoy your simple, nevertheless creative snack!

I hope you and your friends love this exquisite creation!

Enjoy!
