DIY: Melon bracelet

Summer... and what do people eat? Melons. I actually hate melons, unless it are watermelons. However, I'm glad that my family likes them, because you can make an original, budget-proof bracelet from its seeds! And even better: you can make it as personal as you like! + It looks good at the beach, + it looks good with a casual outfit + it looks good with... let's say everything.

You will need:
- A melon, preferably not a watermelon but one with light seeds
- A needle
- Yarn
- Kitchen roll
- Transparent nail polish
- If you want to give your bracelet a color: paint

Step one:
Eat the melon and remove the seeds with a spoon.

Step two:
Wash the seeds and let them dry on a piece of kitchen roll (preferably a few days!).

Step three:
If you want to have a coloured bracelet: paint the seeds in the colour(s) you like and let them dry for another day.

Step four:
Polish the seeds with transparent nail polish, they get shiny!:) And again, let them dry.

Step five:
Stick the needle and yarn through the seeds and tack them to the yarn. (It is smart to measure your wrist, so that you know how long your bracelet should be!)

Step six:
You can add nice beads, or anything you like!

Enjoy!
