DIY: Depilate your eyebrows

As a matter of fact, it is not always easy to depilate your own eyebrows. Either you remove too much or you simply spoil the shape of your eyebrows… But, what are the most important rules? I am going to explain you how you should depilate your eyebrows, with Lauren Conrad helping me out a little since her eyebrows are amazing:).

Step one:

Use an old mascara wand or an eyebrow brush in order to brush the hairs of your eyebrow upwards.

Step two:

Use a little scissor to cut off the hairs that are a little too long.

Step three:

Use tweezers with a broad tip in order to pull out the hairs that are out of place.
Note: only remove hairs UNDER your eyebrow, it will look awkward if you remove hairs above!

Step four:

Use smaller tweezers to pull out annoying, loose and short hairs

Step five:

To see where you have to start depilating your eyebrow you can use a pencil. Place the pencil alongside the inner corner of your eye and your nose. This is how you can see where you have to start. All the hairs that are outside the boundaries may be removed.

Step six:

Next, place the pencil alongside the iris of your eye when you are looking straight forward. The end of the pencil should touch your nose. This is where the bow of your eyebrow is supposed to be.

Step seven:

Now, place the pencil alongside the outer corner of your eye and your nose. This is the point where your eyebrow should end.

Step eight:

Eventually you can color your eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil. Do this by drawing little, light stripes starting at the end, moving to the beginning of your eyebrow. After this, brush your eyebrows back in the original shape.

Are you satisfied with your eyebrows?

Enjoy!
