DIY: 5 ways to improve the condition of your nails.

To us, women, nails are extremely important. When a nail splits, we freak out (even though we do not always admit itJ).  Women react heavily for a reason; nails are a reflection of one’s lifestyle. Be honest, what hand would you prefer to shake? A clean, soft hand with perfect polished nails or a hand with dirt under split nails? Exactly. But polishing your nails often and removing the nail polish is also damaging for your nails… I will teach you how to improve the condition of your nails!
Acetone-free nail polish remover
I admit… removing nail polish goes way faster when acetone is used, but did you know that it removes more than just nail polish? It removes the natural oils of your nails as well, resulting in dry nails that are more likely to split. So girls, please use acetone-free nail polish remover!

Keep it short
Do you find your nails tear a lot? Then keep them short! People who think that only long nails are pretty are wrong. What do you prefer? Damaged long nails or cute short ones?
Water hazard!
A long bath or shower is delicious, but not really smart if your nails are not that strong… Just like your skin your nails also dry out when they are in touch with water too long or too often.

Vitamin B
Take appendices which contain extra vitamin B. This vitamin does not only make your nails stronger, it also makes your hair shine!

Remove stains and make your nails whiter
You can do this with the aid of a lemon by cutting it in half and pushing your nails in for several minutes. If you prefer lemon juice you can use a wad of cotton wool to rub it in your nails. The lemon works, but it is certainly not the best solution. Your best bet would be to use a real nail whitener since this does not damage your nails at all.

Enjoy!
